Backyard, Tucson

I've been reminiscing lately about my past backyards in Tucson, their flora and fauna. Since 2020, I've been keeping folders with the structure "BackyardPhotos_year_version." Going back to them brings me some joy, seeing hummingbirds, bobcats, quails, colorful flowers, and so much green against a rather brown backdrop. Today, I wanted to enjoy the life in my current backyard. Took my camera and went outside for a few minutes to check on folks, mostly the ones flowering in the middle of summer in the hot desert. A few blooms, a chick still in its nest, and a quiet reminder to appreciate what's just there.

Últimamente he estado recordando algunos patios en los que he vivido en Tucson...su flora y fauna. Desde 2020 he guardado carpetas con la estructura "BackyardPhotos_year_version". Abrir aquellas fotos de vez en cuando, me da alegría al ver colibríes, linces, codornices, flores, y en general, un tanto de verde sobre un fondo más bien café. Hoy quería disfrutar de lo que hay en mi patio. Salí unos minutos a ver como estaba todo, sobre todo a aquellas plantas que están floreciendo en pleno verano. En el album de abajo...unas cuantas flores, un polluelo en su nido, y un recordatorio silencioso de valorar lo que simplemente nos rodea.
