Lower San Pedro River, United States

We left early in the morning heading north, passing Globe, Arizona, seeing cottonwoods in the distance, and descending along the slopes of the river. We walked for a few hours across the flat of the canyon, moving between shade and shafts of sunlight. Now and then, animals would approach shyly to drink.

Fuimos temprano en la mañana en dirección norte, pasando Globe (Arizona), viendo a lo lejos álamos, y bajando por las laderas del río. Caminamos por unas horas por lo plano del cañón, pasando entre sombra y rayos de sol. Una que otra criatura se acercaba tímidamente a tomar agua.
